Why Toastmasters Works: Learning public speaking from people who are learning public speaking sometimes seems like the blind leading the blind! So, why does Toastmasters work? Toastmasters relies on a tried and true method of setting speech objectives combined with immediate evaluation. Each speech focuses on specific objectives. Speech evaluations are positive, to reinforce good speaking patterns, and make positive suggestions for improvement. And above all, it all takes place in a fun environment!
